We self-perform all painting and protective coating work. That's what we've done since 1993 and it's the core of the business.
For every other trade, we hold relationships with licensed contractors we've worked with and verified. When your project needs an electrician, a roofer, and a flooring installer, you don't manage three contracts and three schedules. You contract with Gemstar. We verify their licensing and insurance, coordinate the sequence, stand behind the work, and send you one invoice.
Most contractors in this space do the same thing and are vague about it. We'd rather tell you exactly how it works, because the value isn't in pretending we swing every hammer — it's in you making one phone call instead of six.
